I am trying to focus on an item that is close to the edge of the frame, when using the zoom option it actually does not show full frame but cuts of the edge by quite a bit. My workaround is to not place item close to edge or focus past it.

I was hoping for a solution, not a workaround?

Attached images show a full frame window and then the zoom window as far as I can go to the left of the frame.

That's a "feature" of all the Canon bodies. You can verify that by disconnecting the camera from USB, turning live view on and trying to zoom at the edge (you will not be able to do that).

Thank you for the quick reply. So I guess I have to work around that. It would be nice to being able to see to the edge of the frame.
