Halo

I've been unable to stack this without a halo appearing. Using method A, radius 3, smoothing 1.
Other methods B,C lead to more halo and some ghosting.
Lighting the images deep in the stack better helped some.
96 images in stack
Any suggestions?
Second image is 100% crop to show halos better

The stack was done using Nikon raw images, allowing Helicon Focus to perform the raw conversion.
When the raw files are converted to TIFFs first by Photoshop and then fed to Helicon Focus as TIFF files the halos all but disappear.
So, in the future I'll convert to tiff first before using HF.

try using the default settings and i do recall i (think)
it can be cause by images stacked on one another meaning the step are not far apart,
on the right side where your images right click and chose >every other one to increase the spacing so there rendering further apart(steps)
if that dont work then Halo if i know :D
