Near and far point - shifting!

Post by bigzero2201 »

Hi

Using Nikon D810 and Tamron 90mm 2.8. And generally having great results with your software. Thank you!

However one recurring problem is after setting near and far point correctly, the camera doesn't actually shoot to the end point, leaving the furthest part of the subject blurred.

When I go back to check the A and B point after shooting the sequence, the B point has shifted forwards!

Please help!

Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do to help it, it's about the specifics of the lens.

I have the Tamron 90mm macro (F004) and it works fine - make sure the Focus Limit Switch is set to "full" ?

Yes, it must definitely be always set to Full when used with Helicon Remote.

Hey,
I have the same problem and the same gear, Nikon 810 and Tamron lens 90mm. I try to mark the furtherest point B but it will not set the focus. I have the the lens set to full and it still doesn't work..

Same here! with Canon 6d Mk2 and Canon EOS IS 2.8/100 mm macro. Actually I had the impression it developed with use. I guess I try reinstalling Helicon Remote.

Using full range AF, limited AF of MF setting at lens seems to have no impact.

Best Fabian
