I am somewhat confused by the UI panel on the right of Helicon Remote.
I have the software connected to a Canon R5 and a WeMacro rail
Section one of the UI panel correctly identifies the R5
Section two has a histogram
Section three has the heading Focus Bracketing(Wemacro(OM3)), a dropdown selection box which only shows the Canon R5 followed by the bracketing selection boxes.
My questions are: -
1. When setting an A and B point for the bracketing are the interval steps being used those I have set in preferences for the WeMacro rail e.g. 100um ?
2. Should the drop down box show both the camera and the rail from which to make a choice ?
3. In preferences for Canon I only have a choice of Big or Small for the interval, what do those choices equate to as a measurement ?

Any help gratefully received

Re: Canon R5 -WeMacro rail
1. Yes, the size of 1 focus step in this case is 100 um (10 steps is 1 mm and so on).
2. If you had more than one camera connected, the drop-down would let you select which one you're configuring focus bracketing for. With a single camera it is pretty useless.
3. There is no set physical distance associated with the camera lens steps, think of it as a (lens-dependent) degrees of focus ring rotation. It does not directly translate into mm of focal plane shift.
