Helicon remote on Chromebok

Hi there

I would like to know if Helicon Remote can run on an Chromebook (with Chrome OS). This question has been asked in 2015, but I guess that many thing has changed since then.

Hi, it won't run directly (there's no Chrome OS version of Helicon Remote). If it was a generic Linux system you could run the Windows version with Wine, maybe there's a similar emulation tool for Chrome OS? Quick googling reveals that you can install Wine after enabling developer mode on a Chromebook.
Alternatively, you may be able to install and run the Android app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.HeliconSoft.HeliconRemote2)
