Hi there
I would like to know if Helicon Remote can run on an Chromebook (with Chrome OS). This question has been asked in 2015, but I guess that many thing has changed since then.
Thanks in advance

Re: Helicon remote on Chromebok
Hi, it won't run directly (there's no Chrome OS version of Helicon Remote). If it was a generic Linux system you could run the Windows version with Wine, maybe there's a similar emulation tool for Chrome OS? Quick googling reveals that you can install Wine after enabling developer mode on a Chromebook.
Alternatively, you may be able to install and run the Android app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.HeliconSoft.HeliconRemote2)

[bump]
This would be so great, if it were possible.
Anyone have any recent news on this?

If a Chromebook (using Chrome OS) is capable of running Heliconphrazle Remote. This was a question posed back in 2015, but I'm assuming a lot has transpired in that time.
Re: Helicon remote on Chromebok
It is possible if Chromebook supports running Android apps. According to Google, it works on "some Chromebooks": https://support.google.com/chromebook/a ... droid-apps
