Failed to write image Metadata error...file contains data of an unknown image type

I have been getting this message on my last two projects when I try to save the render. The image file path in each error message is different of course. The save seems to come out ok at the end and I am able to view the final save.
Helicon Focus version 8.2.2

Failed to write image Metadata error....D:\Macro Projects\2023\RB705333.CR3: The file contains data of an unknown image type. Last error: 0

Any guidance on what is the cause of this error?

This will come up if your source format is CR3 and you're saving the result as TIFF or JPG. You can ignore this warning, but note that your resulting files will have no EXIF metadata.
Possible solutions:
a) save the results as DNG;
b) export the source images from Lightroom or Capture One (as DNG).

This will also be solved in the next major update of Helicon Focus, but it will take a while.
