We have tested this release on the 2020 M1 Mac Mini and it works. Please send a bug report after getting this error (menu - Help - Contact support).
I suspect you are running an unsupported older version of macOS, like 13.6.

I'm running 14.4.1 and just tried the version that Catherine posted from 10/30. Each image gets opened in the DNG converter (shows in the dock) one-by-one, as opposed to in an earlier version, where you will see 2-3 images showing up at a time in the dock. No OpenCL support for either version, and I'm on an M2 Max.

I'll record a short video and describe how each version renders differently, but the old version literally renders 2x as fast as the 10/30 version. Don't know why, but I've submitted bug reports for each version after rendering a stack.

The latest version works (8.3.0), if yours doesn't - download the new one.

Just realised we are already on 15.3 and it is still working. Did you find a way to get out of the updating needs on every new Mac OS?!

Hopefully yes, at least for now (until they change something again).
