One object throws off whole stack

I have blocked the sun with my hand, and now the Helicon software wouldn't complete the stack properly because (I am assuming) it is trying to focus the hand. I know how to solve this using JPEG or TIFF, but when I clone the hand in Adobe RAW, the Helicon software doesn't recognize these cloning edits, and hand is back. Any help how can I accomplish this stack in RAW/DNG?

Hi, there's nothing we can do about this, the issue is with your editing software. When exporting as DNG, it doesn't actually apply your edits to the image.
You might be able to use the "Manual focus detection rectangle" to get your stack aligned and rendered correctly, and then retouch over the hand (Preferences - Autoadjustments - Manual focus detection rectangle).
