Hello,
Helicon Focus 9 supports substacking.
However, after rendering a set of substacks, the program only creates one new stack. To continue, I have to manually load this new stack back into Helicon Focus 9 and start another substacking process. I must repeat this step several times until I get the final image.
This requires a considerable amount of manual work.
Therefore, my feature request is:
Please add a function to Helicon Focus 9 that automatically reloads the result of the first substack rendering and starts the next substacking process automatically. The software should continue this process until the final image is produced.
This would save a lot of time when working with very large stacks.

I agree with Astrophytum,
In general, I have between 50 to 300 images in each stack to process. I create substacks of about 5–10 photos each using Method B, then reopen the substacks in Helicon and compile the final image using Method C.
A streamlined workflow could be really helpful.

I use the option "Render entire stack after all sub-stacks".
For example, I render 4 images per sub-stack with 1 image overlap.
This gives me about 50 sub-stacks.
Currently, Helicon Focus renders all 50 sub-stacks directly into the final image.
What I would like is different:
The 50 sub-stacks should first be rendered again into new sub-stacks of 4 images with 1 image overlap.
This would create about 13 new sub-stacks.
Then these sub-stacks should again be rendered in groups of 4 images with 1 image overlap, and so on.
The process should continue until only one final image remains.

Thanks for the clarification. I thought this was it, wanted to make sure before we start implementing this. We'll see what we can do.
