SONY A7R V and VI

I just switched to SONY from Nikon and have the A7R V and ordered the A7R VI.
I have been using Nikon with Helicon Remote on an iPAD via Nikon's wireless WIFI
While SONY bracketing is very good it only focuses to Infinity
I am working with small objects in a light studio
What are my options to use the SONY cameras using Helicon Remote to capture images between start and end points?
In addition to iPAD I have android tablets and phone plus a MacBook Pro

All of them should work, but only with USB connection.
