64 Bit Windows 7 Install

Post by howardg »

I just purchased the license for Helicon Focus Pro x64...the latest version and activated the product but had a quick question. I am running Windows 7 64 bit as well as Lightroom 64 bit (and Photoshop both 32 and 64 bit). I noticed that the program installs in the Program Files (x86) folder and thought that this folder was for the installation of 32 bit programs only. Will the program function for me correctly despite being installed in this folder? It did install the Lightroom plug in in my 64 bit Lightroom program, but I have not yet tried it. Will it work correctly? Again, I ask this only because of the programs installation into the x86 folder.

Thanks.

The program consist of two componets. Interface part is 32 bit, processing part is 64/32 bit. If you open Task manager when Helicon Focus is processing the images you will see that HeliconFocusServer64.exe is doing all the work.
