Concerning the closing of the port and Related to my other post on controling stackshot via the box and the HR software at the same time.
One tweek solution could be to add a check box on the HR main interface near the stackshot command that would OPEN/CLOSE the communication port so we can switch easy from the command box to HR and back without disconnecting the box !
That would be fine for me for the moment.

Yes, this is the most reasonable solution. Switching usb devices on the fly is a bit tricky, I will see what we can do here.

Hi,
For the moment I was only using HR to move the stackshot rail
We were shooting manually directly from the stackshot box, the camera was trigered directly from the box
I try to shoot a stack today using not the box but directly from HR and it's not working
I have the stackshot only connected on the Mac via USB
I am NOT shooting tethered but the system works perfectly via the box
When I push the shoot the stack or shoot one shoot button in HR. Nothing happens it freezes and i have to quit and restart HR to gain control again.
Shouldn't HR be able to trigger through the stackshoot system when I check the box "allow use without camera" ?

You are right, we need to allow triggering camera in such mode. I will put this to our to-do list.
