question from a newbie:

thank you for your help, I would like to know if there are any advantages or disadvantages, if I

A. - use the change of macro lens focus for the stacking

or

B. - adjust the whole camera position to the object for stacking using a micro sliding gear (and leaving the lens focus fixed to minimum distance)?

I just took and posted my first image made using the software. I used the camera tethered to the laptop. I set the closest focus point, set the number of images (20). I let the software change for focus of the lens. No need for me to move the camera.

It is a very simple shot, in my living room. No aux. lighting.
