Hi,

I am new to Helicon, I have been looking through the forum but cannot find a workaround to the following issue.
Using the sample images of the walnut I saved the layers as tiff and tried opening these in Image J but the entire image of the walnut continues to open. What is going on here? Are there embedded data within the tiff that isn't allowing me to look specifically at the focus layers by themselves?
If so, can I turn this off somewhere in the software?

The TIFFs have an alpha channel that masks off parts of the image. I can only assume that ImageJ is not showing you transparency. Maybe there's an option for it somewhere; I know this software is very powerful.
