I recently purchased a beautiful Blackview tab 8 tablet (Android 10) in order to run HR.
However, HR recognizes my canon eos 5d II only with difficulties. After selecting my camera in the grey rectangle that lists available devices. HR freezes.

I can connect and liveview with the alternative android app Camera Connect and control 5.15.1, however, HR sometimes freezes when attempting to detect a camera or upon selection.

Any advice ?

Then, make sure no other apps are running that can possibly detect the camera (Photos, Gallery, Files, other remote control apps). Connect the camera first, close any pop-ups, close any other camera-related apps, and only then open Helicon Remote (do not choose for Helicon Remote to run automatically when the camera is plugged in).
