Start shooting button unresponsive

I've recently bought helicon remote for focus stacking with my Sony A7Riii and Sony 90mm macro. Everything setup following the instructions, have set start and end focus points (thank god I found how to change the jump steps in the parameters, the default 'big jump' is so small!!), but now the 'Start Shooting' button doesn't do anything, nor is there any error message. Did I forget to do something?
Camera is on, connected, set to manual exposure mode, camera in AF with no limiters on.
