I used to have the basic Helicon. I wonder if with Remote I can choose to shoot tethered or not. For example if I'm in a hurry and I shoot a stack manually can I later just use Helicon to put the images together as I used to with Helicon Focus? This would be great because I assume when tethered you have to have a wireless connection between cellphone or laptop to the camera. My experience tells me this is often a problematic process. So knowing I can still stack manually would be good. Finally I assume I'm right to say the tethering must be done wirelessly? Is it possible to shoot wired to the Helicon app?
Many thanks
Can remote do this?
Re: Can remote do this?
Hello,
1. Helicon Focus will process any photos, regardless of where they camera from. You are not required to use Helicon Remote to shoot your stacks.
2. Both wired and wireless connection is supported for cameras that have wireless tethering capability, except for Sony cameras for which we only support wired (USB) tethering.
