You're running a beta version of macOS, which we don't support. You'll have to either work with OpenCL disabled or install 12.5. This is because we only have one M1 system and we need it running the latest stable version of the macOS. And also because if macOS 13 continues the tradition of 12.x, we would need to ship two versions of Helicon Focus - one for 12.5 and one for 13.0, which we don't want to do.

Understood, thanks for the explanation!

Is it safe to up update to Ventura macOS 13.0 on M1 - meaning will the Helicon Remote and Helicon focus continue to work?

Everything will work. Use the new version 8.2.1 of Helicon Focus if you have M1 and 13.0 (menu - Help - Check for updates also works to update from an older version).

Thank you Catherine. I thought I'd ask right here - what about Helicon Remote - will it continue working with Ventura macOS 13 ?

Hi, currently running Helicon Focus 8.2.1 on MACOS Ventura 13.1 / Mac Studio M1 Max. Helicon is seen as an Intel app, not an universal one, so it doesn't run native and I still can initialise OpenCL.
Can you help me?
Thank you in advance

I updated to macOS Ventura (13.1) yesterday and I'm using Helicon Focus 8.2.1 on a MacBook Pro M1 Pro - same error message.
So it seems like it has to be fixed again, unless I'm doing something wrong.
