Canon R5, focusstacking is not working proper

using the R5 with the new version of helicon remote is unfortunaltely not working.
the focus steps are far to big and are not compatible with the settings.
for example the setting is: 8 shots with 5 steps - 5 shots are complete out of focus - even
when the point a and b are set the right way.
i tested it also with the app - it´s also not working.
i am a user for many years and tried to solve the issue for several hours without success !
