save images in virtual stack to folder

Post by hcgilje »

As mentioned in an earlier post, I really like the split stack function in batch mode. I use it to create tiles which I stitch together in ptgui.
Sometimes, however, I want to create an animation from the images that make up a stack.

So when I batch render, the results end up in the lower section of the interface, I select one of the stacks, and the source images section is then filled with the images in that particular stack.
What I would like to do is to then be able to save those images to a separate folder. It is very time consuming with a folder of many thousand images to find the particular range of images that make up that particular virtual stack.

The Create animation in the save options almost does the job, except it saves the images as jpeg. I would like to have them in the original format (and I don´t need the web part).

best,
HC
