Pixel Smearing at sides of frame

Post by NoBodySpecial »

Hello,

Any idea what is causing the pixels as the sides of the frame to "smear" in such a manner?

Image

Moreover, how can I prevent this from happening ?

Hope you can help.

Many thanks,

J

I’ve seen this on another program I used. It was caused by a slight movement in the stacking process and some of the images didn’t have any data for the particular area. You should be able to see this in your stacks and retouching. At least that’s what caused the issue on my stack.

Hi,
you can remove these surfaces using the "Crop output automatically" from the Preferences --> Autoadjustment tab

I've added a new chapter into my site web, concerning these lines. I hope that can help in future other Helicon users: https://enrico-bonino.eu/tech-side/remo ... ing-lines/
