Are there plans to add cRAW support to Helicon Remote?
At the moment it is not possible to select cRAW when choosing initial setup options.
Also is there a reason the "initiation process" defaults to L1 and Raw as image formats? I have had a couple of instances where this has overridden the camera settings and I ended up taking twice as many pictures as needed.

Is there a particular rationale for using L1 and Raw the default picture formats in the "initiation process"? On a handful of occasions, this has supersededdordle my camera's settings, causing me to take many more images than necessary.

It has to be raw + full-size JPEG. No, no particular reason it can't be cRAW, we'll look into it.
Normally this only takes 1-2 seconds and the only way it could impact you is if the process was terminated before it finished. Unfortunately, this can happen for external reasons that we cannot control (a conflict with another camera-related application, the camera being disconnected from USB etc.).
