When starting HR android I occasionally see a pop-up saying it's in evaluation mode. Please explain this and how to get rid of it.

You need to sign in with your activation code so that the app can recognize that you have a license: menu - Sign in. Paste your activation code into the text input field.

The clean way to exit the app is menu - Exit, or simply press the "Back" button and choose "Exit" in the pop-up. But it generally doesn't matter whether you do this or not. You may as well just minimize the app and then terminate it (or let the system do it for you some time later).

RE: Activation code,
HR-android was part of a sale last month which included both android and pc versions. I'm guessing then that I use the same (incredibly long) activation code for both?

Yes, it's the same. The code is 8 characters long.
