re-order shots

when shots are not named like x-1 x-2 x-3 etc but still in alphabetical order, Helicon has trouble processing them. Will there be an option to manually re-order the shots one day?

Possibly one day. How exactly are your files named, can you show a real example? It shouldn't be a problem if, as you said, it's still alphabetical.

example where some are out of order, due to a mishaps in the renaming scheme during import in LRC:

solution is to rename them manually and re-import them but when I do stacking, i really do not care and wish i could just reorder them on the fly in helicon

Did you list them in the order in which they should be? I see no problem with these names, and Helicon Focus orders them correctly:
