I've been using Remote and Focus, shooting macro with my Nikon D850 and Tamron SP AF 90mm Macro lens for about 2 years with no issues. Just added a Tamron SP AF 1.4x teleconverter and the software is unable to adjust focus. Clearly not communicating with the camera, or at least not communicating well. I cant find any reported issues with Tele-converters in the forums so Imma just asking outright. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix I'm unaware of?

Does autofocus work with this converter during normal hand-held operation, without remote control?
