FujiFilm Cameras

Post by jorsillo »

Hello there

Is there any chance you might add support for FujiFilm cameras, specifically the GFX series?

Hello, there are no such plans for the near future, but we'll update the list of most requested cameras that we will use when it comes the time to decide what's next. Which specific camera model do you have in mind?

We do support A7R4. Although for some users it didn't work, others reported success. So it is at least worth a try. Make sure that "PC Remote" option is turned on in the camera settings.

FUJIFILM GFX 100s or GFX 100, either would be a great addition.

Just to further this discussion, it seems Fuji have an SDK available for camera control software.

https://fujifilm-x.com/global/special/c ... ntrol-sdk/

I know of one other software product that can remotely control the Fuji cameras, but I much prefer the Helicon interface.

Thanks again for your efforts!

That's interesting, thanks for the information! We wouldn't be using this SDK in Helicon Remote, but the fact it exists is a positive sign.

Today, the most popular cameras in the subject photo industry are Fujifilm, since the x-trans matrix does not have an anti-moire filter. The image is sharper than on Canon or Nikon. You lose of customers.
