individual image orientation/rotation

Hi!

Occasionally when doing vertical stacks my images are saved with a wrong orientation (although the camera points straight down some images are turned 90° to the left or right).
Of course this means that these RAW files can't be properly aligned during stacking as that kind of rotation isn't supposed to happen and can't be compensated for in the settings.

Would it be possible to allow for individual image rotation in the source image list? For example click on two images and select "turn clockwise 90°" or "turn anticlockwise 90°"

For now I've resorted to exporting the images as JPEGs or TIFFs with the correct orientation but I'd prefer to work with RAWs.

At some point we will probably add an option to ignore the EXIF orientation flag, but the real solution is to turn off auto rotation in your camera body settings. Also, there are plenty batch orientation editors that should work with raw files (because it's simply a matter of changing an EXIF field).

Thank you, thank actually worked really well!!

If anyone else wants to do that there's something called "exiftools" that works very well (though it's a bit complicated to use).
The command you're looking for is "-orientation#=1" which bascially resets the image to horizontal orientation.
