Hi,
When i look on my android samsung tablet it says that the version is 4.5.1. I can't get it to update to version 4.5.5.
Even when i remove 4.5.1 and download from google play the latest version it say's version 4.5.1 and not 4.5.5.
What am i doing wrong. I have a licence so it ther shoudend be a problem.
With kind regards
Hans

Hi Hans,
Nothing is wrong, the new version is being gradually rolled out by Google Play, not all users get the update at the same time. Do you need the new update, is something not working in 4.5.1? Or were you just curious why you don't see it?

Hi Catherine,
I am curious if the connection with my Canon R7 via USB now works, with 4.5.1 this does not work.
Greetings
Hans

That's not a problem with the version of the app. Please send a bug report with the camera connected and turned on, we'll take a look and reply: menu - Feedback - Report a bug. Make sure to enter a valid e-mail address in the report dialog, we'll send the reply there.

We looked for your bug report but we can't find/identify it, sorry. So please reproduce the problem and send a bug report. There are no known issues with Canon R7, and it's very unlikely that the new version will fix it. We need to understand what the problem is, then we'll try to address it.

Hi Catherine,
I think you are right that you can't find a bug report becourse the camera is detected by the tablet i can see images on my sd card but Helicon remote does not see the camera. I have already tried every possible usb setting on the tablet and tried even different tablet with the same result. If i use the wifi connection than Helicon remote sees the camera and works well. My preferred connection is usb and not wifi becourse it is faster. I think i just have to live with this situation.
Thanks for all the work you have done
Hans

Hi Hans, please send a bug report so we can see what the problem is and offer solutions. Connect the camera, open Helicon Remote, wait for about 10 seconds, then go to the app's menu - Feedback - Report a bug, fill in the e-mail and a short comment, and send it.
But before that, make sure to completely terminate any other camera-related apps, as they can and will cause this issue (e. g. Photos, Gallery, Files, and anything else that can possibly detect the camera). Only open Helicon Remote after you made certain none of such apps are running in the background.
