Helicon Focus plugin for Capture One

Recently I reinstalled macOS and found out that when I launched Capture One 16.6.6 (newest as of today) Helicon plugin was missing. From what I found on your website it was supposed to be shipped with C1. Do I understand it correctly? It showed up only after I installed and launched older version (16.4) I still use for some clients.

The plugin is shipped and installed by Helicon Focus, not Capture One.
I just installed Capture One 16.6 and the plugin was present right away (the "Stack with Helicon Focus" option). Is it working for you in 16.4 on the same Mac and under the same user?
Try this; full quit all instance of Capture One, run Helicon Focus, exit Helicon Focus, and check Capture One for the plugin.

Yes, everything is working fine for both versions. It must be me doing something in wrong order I suppose. So it is enough to drop Helicon Focus in Application folder, launch it and plugin installation will be automated? Last time I had to think about Helicon plugin was when it was required to download it from your website. I think it was many years ago. Thanks for clarifying this.

Yes, you have to run Helicon Focus once for it to install the plugin, and no other action is required. That's on Mac. On Windows there is an installer that also installs the plugin, so running Helicon Focus is not required.
Glad to hear it's working now, thanks for letting me know.
