Delete from source brush

Hi,
I have some images with artifacts caused by moving objects. I know how to use the Copy From Source brush to reduce these artifacts by copying content from the source image to the output image.
In some cases, however, I would like to do the opposite. Is there a way to mark areas so that content from the source image is not copied to the output image?
Basically, I’m looking for an eraser-type tool that removes or blocks content from the source map, a delete from souce brush.
Any help would be appreciated.
Peter
