Windows "Open Images" takes 2-3 seconds bevore opening

Hello,

I noticed that, compared to HF 8, it takes a few seconds in HF 9 before the “Open Images” window appears when I press Ctrl+O.
I tested it again just now:
I open about 35 images and let them render. Then I press Ctrl+O. In HF 8, the window appears immediately. In HF 9, it takes 2–3 seconds.

Hello Steffen, I'm not observing this delay. Do you have "Fail safe dialogs" turned on or off in menu - Edit - Preferences - General?
Is this on Windows?

sorry, yes it's Windows.

"Fail safe dialogs" are turned off.

The delay is only after the first rendering.

What if you wait let's say 30 seconds after the first render, just do nothing, and then do Ctrl+O, is there still a delay?
