9.04 Issues with Lightroom Plugin

Hello,
I just installed my first foray into V9 on my M4 Max Mac Studio (OS:Tahoe 26.5.1) and for some reason after using the LR plug-in (V1.3) DNG export, rendering the final image then trying to save the result, the file dialog opens to the correct drive but NOT the source folder. This is despite having this option enabled in Helicon preferences. I've tried reinstalling the plug-in from 9.04 but seems to be the same version that was working under v8. I'm using LR 15.4.1. I have to navigate to the correct folder to save the file. This seems odd and I have disabled/re-enabled the plug-in, re-loaded it from plug-in manager, restarted Lightroom and helicon but none of that appeared to fix this.

Any idea what I might have done wrong?

Thanks

Muir

Hi Muir,

Yes, we know, sorry, we'll fix it soon. There's nothing you can do about it currently. You can either select the appropriate folder manually every time, or use Helicon Focus 8.

OK - thanks. I'll keep using 9 for now as I like how much faster it seems! By the way, I assume you know that the export to DNG to helicon, process and return to LR appears to strip added keywords etc as the returning files loses all of that.

Which keywords? What exactly does the file lose? No, we didn't know that. Is it in EXIF, or some different kind of metadata?

I noticed the same issue with Capture One plugin.

Hi Catherine,

I'm sorry I missed your request for details of the meta data issue I saw. I'll go back and redo an image set and repost the details for you.
