When I import RAW images directly into focus, what are the parameters used in processing that image? It later saves it as a jpg or tiff so have I lost the ability to process the image with C1? Or, am I better off processing the images first, before running focus?

It is processed with some default settings. You can save the resulting image as 16 bit tiff and edit it without quality loss.

You can also convert the images first and then process them with Helicon Focus.
