Problem

Post by Paolo »

Ciao,
i’m Paolo, photographer from Italy.

I have photographed a shell fossil tall 2,5 centimeters.
I have realized 28 photos on tripoid.
The elaboration with helicon focus has not given satisfactory
results and I doesn't understand where is the problem.
I send you an image with marked in red the problems.
Could you explain me where I have been wrong?

Grazie

Paolo

Thanks for the samples. I see that you use Manual exposure mode and the same parameters for all your images, which is good. Still, the images have very different brightness and the program was not able to correct brightness changes. Most probably because white background and object itself change the brightness differetntly.

This variation of brightness may be a result of moving the flash or firing flash with auto mode.

this looks like brightness variation when you are shooting. i get this all the time, as i use only natural lighting. the only way to fix it is by retouching.
