Shooting in macro mode, techniques, tips & tricks

Helicon Focus is a great program that I use regularly for shooting live insects in my studio. Each image requires a considerable number of steps that take time away from actual stack production. Having a means to automate these steps via a macro would help me reduce the time per image considerably. Does anyone know of a macro recorder that can be used with HF? Thanks. fisherwr2. williamfisherphotography.com
There is no built-in support for macros in Helicon Focus. If you describe your usual workflow we can add new features to streamline it. For example something like this: in Explorer you select folder or set of images, right click them and select command "Stack with Helicon Focus". The program shows only progress and saves the images to the same folder.
