Being using Helicon Remote and and the focus stacking in 5.1.29 today. Images are taken okay and stack very well. I have found an issue when saving insofar as I would like to save the HF file as a psd for the rest of my work flow but when doing so, find that there are many areas of missed alignment and it is generally a very poor quality image. If I then save the same HF rendering (i.e. I do not do any other manipulation in HF) as a tiff or jpg then the alignments are perfect.

Is this me or an issue with the software?

Yes, but this is very odd. There should not be any difference in saving PSD or TIFF. I would appreciate if you send us PSD file to explore.
