Access violation when saving TIFF LZW

Windows 7 Pro 64 bit using the trial version of Helicon Focus. When I save the output file and choose TIFF LZW as the file type I get the following error dialog.
Error on saving image
"c:\users\fred\pictures\junk.tif"
Access violation at address 1008A186 in module PollyImagePro.dll. Read of address 00000004.
The file does appear to be created successfully. The error does not occur if I choose plain TIFF or PSD as the output format. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
