Hi
I tested the new mac beta (not the official one the one you put on this forum 2,2,2m i think) with my stackshot, seems to work great.
Cool news : It adresses the no camera mode shooting problem and the disconnecting of the stackshot
A few more things
- When you specify the starting point, number of steps, and interval it should be enough to start the shooting, the end point can be calculated automaticly, when starting shooting. For now you have to actually go to the end and set it before starting the shoot
- Before you specify the end point you have the number of steps from start wich is indicated real time as you move along, but after selecting the end you just have the total step between start and end, it would be great to keep an indication of the current position with something like 22/50 (position 22 in between start and stop of a total of 50 steps)
- Add a big STOP button to emergency immediatly stop the device if something go wrong, we can allways do a ba manip (like going to far) or as it is a beta one never now (i have read some problem in another post)!! just a way to keep the stackshot safe !
- Will you implement a way to "release" and "regain" the stackshot communication so we can temporally regain manual control on the stackshot control box (like a check box online/offline)
- is there a way to get rid of the live view panel when in "no camera" mode, and to resize the window to a smaller size that it is goes right now?
Definitly waiting for customisation of the number of step that the button buttons advances and I'd also fancy one more customisable "Extra large move" pair of buttons for even more control because we are using the long rail.
