I love everything that your app does. It's almost perfect!

I wonder if it is possible to have the software act as just a monitor. That is that you can still use the functions on the camera but the device is acting as your Live View only.

Second is that this afternoon I was using a Nikon D90 tethered to a Acer Iconia A500 (not on ICS yet) and when I chose in the software to save on camera AND on the device it would only save on the device and gave me an error. Unfortunately I will have to come back with the error since I failed to copy it.

Thsi is not a show stopper for me. I was able to take 5 focus-controlled shots, share them to Google drive and import them to Photoshop for stacking.

You can't use camera body controls when live view is activated in tethered mode, so what you're suggesting is, unfortunately, not possible.
D90 does not support saving images to flash card for tethered shooting, you should have gotten a message explaining that. If you got a weird message - there was such problem and it's now fixed, you probably have outdated version.
