File access violation

When I switch from the files tab to the parameters tab I get a file access violation and have to close HF. Now it will no longer start and it also won't uninstall. The uninstall window freezes before the process begins.

Thanks
Frez

Frez,

I would suggest you to delete Helicon Focus folder completely. Than please download and install the latest release of Helicon Focus:

Last night I did that and also removed any references to HF in the registry with regedit. I installed the latest version from the web site. The problem still exists.
See my email sent to [email protected]

Thanks

Update: I managed to get HF started again. When switching between the files and parameters tab I get this message.

Internal error! Access violation at address 00406053 in module 'HeliconFocus.exe'. Read of address 000004FC

I then close HF. On restart it works again, but the same problem occurs. This problem usually happens when the above procedure is performed a second time.
HF has been reinstalled three times in the last two days.
I feel that it is only a matter of time before HF refuses to start again.

Thanks
Frez

Hi Stas

This beta version seems stable so far. I've done 6 renderings with only one issue.
I have to save tif images twice. Nothing is saved on the first attempt. I haven't tried
saving in other formats yet. This sounds a minor fix on your end. I'll continue using
it for a few days and report back to you.

Thanks for your support and help
Frez
