Remote freezes while shooting sequence

In both the mobile version (Samsung Galaxy Tablet 2 10", rooted)
And the desktop version (Win 7, [email protected], 32GB DDR3, USB 2.0) I'm getting some weird errors.
Everything worked fine with my first couple of stacks but now Helicon Remote seems to either freeze while shooting (after 2-3 shots) or it will run through the sequence but wont actually adjust the focus while stepping through the sequence. Focuses fine while not shooting however.

I've gone through and reset all preferences, restarted, etc. Tried shooting RAW and Jpeg.
Any help or advice?

I'm shooting with
Rebel t3i (600D)
Sigma 70-300 f/4-5.6 DG APO Macro
Card is SanDisk Class 10 Extreme at 45MB/s

Did you send us a bug report for this issue?

Yes, 3.
2 from my tablet and 1 from my desktop.
The response I got said that 2 of 3 times I was trying to change where images were stored while shooting was in progress.
That was not the case though. I did try changing locations but never while shooting. That would be kind of ridiculous.
Sounds like there is a bug in the bug reporter.

The 3rd was a serious bug that "we could not reproduce" it was suggested I switch to an older version for windows .
[EDIT]
I read the response wrong, will try the older version of Helicon and post my results.

Any idea what might be going on with the Android version?

This did get me thinking.
Seems like maybe there's is an issue where the software is having a problem writing the new file location path. If it's hanging up on that command and I push "Start Shooting" that would cause the error I'm getting and probably explain the bug report.
Might be worth looking into on the dev side.

There's no bug in the bug reporter, that's the only thing we can say for sure. Unfortunately, it is not clear what causes the issue. We either don't receive a notification that the camera has finished shooting a new image, or we don't download this image to computer's memory in time. Either way, it isn't related to saving images to hard drive, and it's probably not related to the camera.
By the way, can you try shooting with "Leave images in the camera" option?
