Possible: to save my focus settings?

Dear Helicon Community,
I'm using a trial version of H-Remote. (killer app).
I'm wondering if there is a way to 'Save' my focus settings. Elaborate -- what I want to do is to have the ability to save my A-Focus setting with my B-Focus setting, and have the ability to return those 'in-out' points at any time.
Thanks for any feedback!
marlin.

Hello,
We plan on adding settings management in future. However, focus points is the one setting that we probably shouldn't allow saving. They're bound to drift and end up invalid sooner or later. You're really better off setting focus points manually for every session and verifying everything is set correctly. It's better to double-check than to double-shoot a stack that was shot a little bit off the first time.

Dear Stas,
thank you very much for your reply.
I Do think that a 'Save Settings' for Focus points might, in fact be useful, at least in our workflow. If its not too much trouble perhaps you could consider such feature, perhaps in the Pro version?
Here's a scenario for example.
We tend to document artifacts (archaeological, forensic, museum one of a kind objects). When an object handler removes the object from storage, we usually only want to document it Once. Frequently we build a stage for the object and leave it there, in place, for as long as it takes to capture the data sequence. Think secure lab, no wind, no odd foot steps or traffic, very secure shoot zone.
Using large Phoba stand to secure the camera, we are confident that neither that object/stage OR the camera will move or shift to any degree. Our data sets require that there is Zero movement or vibration of the obj or camera setup.
I'm working on a workflow that requires up to 48 'stacks' *per data set.
Previously, during a capture session, we had to paused and return at a later time. During that time, the computer went to (sleep) and the camera battery was de-energized.
It was at this time, most of the way thru my data collection, that Helicon Focus also "lost" its foreground <> background focus setting. When I returned, I needed to 'match' the previous focus setting.
That particular setup was Macro, so I needed to spend some time to best 're-align' my focus points to best 'match' my *previous focus settings.
I want to avoid two separate focus 'fields' (not sure if that the correct phrase). The Goal for me is to have One Data set use One set of focus parameters.
Anyhow, I thought that maybe this feedback might provide deeper insight into how your tools are being used.
If there a 'hack' or a work around that you can think of?
thanks again.
Marlin.

The only "hack" is leaving the camera on and Helicon Remote running. You could set it up in the morning and use throughout the day, and set it up again the next day to make sure everything is right.
There's no technical problem with implementing this feature. There's a problem of people relying on it, then moving something accidentally, shooting bad stacks and becoming upset.
