What are the settings for connecting to a canon 6d that has created its own wifi. I can only find instructions on how to connect to 6d on infrastructure wifi, which doesn't help me as there is no open wifi where I would like to use it, only the wifi created by the 6d.

We don't support 6D as a Wi-Fi hotspot. However, you should be able to create a Wi-Fi network in Android, making your phone / tablet a hotspot. Then you can connect 6D to this net and follow our instructions.
