Nikon D800; No GPS data

Hi,
I have a Nikon D800 and a LG Nexus 5 Android Phone.
I'm using the registered version of Helicon Remote v3.6.2. through
an OTG USB cable.

I don't manage to get GPS coordinates on my Photos (tried both
RAW and JPG).
I tried both options, embbeding the GPS data in the EXIF file and
saving it in a separate XMP file: no GPS data is recorded on the EXIF
and no XMP files are saved.

Thanks in advance!
Cheers.
Ricardo

You need the file to be downloaded to the phone in order for geotagging to work. I. e. your JPEG / RAW download mode should be set to Copy or Move in the app's preferences -> Image saving. And, of course, you should be inspecting this downloaded file, not the one saved on the camera's flash card.
