I was considering getting this software, but I noticed that the Canon WFT -E8A is currently not supported?
Is that currently in the works?

All the WFT devices from E4 and up should work, we just haven't tested the E8.

I downloaded the focus software to try it out, and after some trial and error I did manage to get it working, (BUT) it kept disconnecting after a few minutes while I was using it. Must not be shaking hands or something to keep the connection. I,Lloyd piddle with it again today to see if I'm missing something.

The WFT-E8A works fine with my android phone. The ipad2 and IPad Pro will disconnect after about 3 to 4 minutes. Hoping for a fix soon!

That's weird because the application is the same and does all the same things on Android and iOS. It could be that the problem is not in the app at all. Can't say anything more useful at the moment.
