Helicon Soft Forum

Hi,

I have installed the trial version of remote version 3.8.1.W and have an issue with auto focus on my 1D Mark IV. The focus arrows work fine but the auto focus does nothing. I get the tiny hourglass for a couple of seconds but nothing happens. I have tried with several lenses but none seem to work. The lenses are set to AF. Haven’t got round to the advanced stuff yet, but I really like it so far.

Thanks,
Gerry.

Not sure what's wrong, sorry. Could be a camera body configuration issue, or could be that changes to 1D Mk IV (compared to other Canon models) broke this feature. Since we don't know if it ever worked for anyone with this camera, and we don't have a 1D Mk IV ourselves, there's no way to tell.

Ok, thanks. It's not a big deal.
