I take pictures from a Needle about 2cm. I use a 105er mm lens on a Fillformat 12 MB-Sensor. The Distance is 30 cm, the steps 1mm different. Aperture is 11 as optimal aperture.
But the end will not be sharp. I tried method as best result on the same object, only litteler an radius 6 und smoothing 4 ...
