Linear artifacts on Helicon focus stack
Does anyone know what is causing the linear artifacts on this stack preview from a stack of CR3s taken on a Canon R5ii, exported as DNGs from Lightroom Classic into Helicon Focus v8?

Re: Horrible green cast in Helicon Focus stacks
Would it be reasonable/practical/desirable to check all the imported DNGs use the same colour space?

Re: Horrible green cast in Helicon Focus stacks
Unfortunately my Canon R6ii "hides" the .jpeg it creates in amongst the RAWs it used to create them. And then when importing into Helicon focus, of course the jpeg gets converted into a dng so you don't realise that "hiding" in the .DNGs in Helicon focus is one DNG that was created from a jpeg.

Re: Horrible green cast in Helicon Focus stacks
The error says "Error
Invalid file extension: untitled-3976.CR3"
I have uploaded to the link you sent a RAW and a JPEG that when imported to Helicon focus as a stack and rendered cause a green cast. The jpg was created by my Canon R6ii from a stack and the cr3 RAW is one of the RAWs from the stack ...

Re: Horrible green cast in Helicon Focus stacks
Sorry - my mistake. Please ignore my last post
I now see that you were waiting for me to send two pictures that have the problem. I have tried but I get an error message when I try to attach a RAW (.cr3)

Re: Horrible green cast in Helicon Focus stacks
Not sure what has happened here? This thread did have several more posts, including the solution to the problem but they have disappeared?

Re: Horrible green cast in Helicon Focus stacks
Sorry it's taken me a while to try this - yes, I do still get the cast with one jpg and one RAW.
What stopped me from identifying the problem sooner was the fact that of course all the pictures exported to Helicon from Lightroom are converted to DNGs so I didn't notice a .jpg was being used because ...

Re: Horrible green cast in Helicon Focus stacks
Ah.
I think I have located the problem with that stack. My camera creates, in camera, a jpg from a stack of RAWs and in Lightroom (depending on how it is configured) the jpg appears in amongst the RAWs and I was inadvertently including this jpg with the RAWs that I was exporting to Helicon. If I ...

Re: Horrible green cast in Helicon Focus stacks
Yes, it does. I have closed Helicon focus and then re exported the same stack and rendered and got a DNG which I have exported from Lightroom as a jpeg and attached here

Re: Horrible green cast in Helicon Focus stacks
It's happened again, with another stack, of 87 images, but trying a few pairs of the stack did not result in the problem.
I'll see if I can find a pair from the stack that reproduce the problem.

Re: Horrible green cast in Helicon Focus stacks
Thank you for replying.
Rather frustratingly it has rendered correctly today.
I have used the link you provided and uploaded a .jpg exported from Lightroom of the offending .dng produced by Helicon.

Horrible green cast in Helicon Focus stacks
Hi,
I have recently had a few instances of Helicon focus stacks having a horrible green cast - see attached. The stack was taken with my Canon R6ii. The in camera jpg render of the stack had no such colour cast and neither did any of the individual shots.
The codec used was RAW-in DNG out

Re: Problems using tube with Canon R6ii
Thank you for sticking with me and trying to help.
I won't be able to do much for the next week. Then I may try and video my settings and what I'm doing - I wonder if I'm doing something dumb (wouldn't be the first time).
