Bug when recent update ver. 5.3 pro

Bonjour,
Helicon vient d'installer une mise à jour aujourd'hui (la version 5.3 pro) (suite à un message pour apparement régler un problème lorsque l'on enregistre en tiff), mais maintenant il y a un problème lorsque je clique sur la fenêtre "Paramètre". Helicon reste bloqué, et ne semble plus répondre du tout. Je suis obliger de fermer le programme de force. Pouvez-vous m'aider?

Helicon Focus installed a new update today (ver. 5.3 pro, to correct an apparent problem when tiff saved), and now there is a bug when I click on "Paramètres". Then Helicon does not answer at all, and stay "freezed". I have stop the software by force.

Can you help me?

Same problem occurred to me, after installing update ver 5.3 pro today. Loading the files as usual, pres "Run" and then the program stalls with the list of files on the top right just flickering. Only Ctrl+Alt+Del helps. Helicon Focus has become useless with the update, unfortunately. Before the update everything went smoothly...

This seems to be the same problem I have with ver 5.3.4, on Windows 7 that I reported under 'Helicon Focus hangs in a Loop' yesterday, that Arnaud Henrard reported on this thread. I will continue on this thread as it seems to be the same problem.

Windows 7 64-bit, 3.3 GHz four-core Intel i5 2500 CPU, 16GB RAM / Running in XP SP3 compatibility mode did not help.

Switching to the parameters tab or starting 'Run' locks the application which seems to be in a loop, the CPU is processing, and Helicon Focus seems to be cycling rapidly through the list of files to be processed but is stuck there without processing them in any way. I do not think it is the files. Files I ran previously on my older computer do not run either. I tried using 16-bit TIFF and 16-bit PSD files.

As I just moved to a new computer, I ran in demo mode, then I put in my registration key after I experienced the problem. I did not deactivate the key on the old computer because it would not boot, hard drive failure. I just got the old machine to boot. The version of Helicon Focus there was 5.2.16. I have deactivated Helicon Focus on the old machine. Helicon 5.3.4 on the new machine still has the same problem. I have deactivated it, and uninstalled it and installed version 5.1.29 which is the latest other installer I have.

Version 5.1.29 runs fine on the files that did not run with version 5.3.4, so it is not the files. Could you make versions 5.2.16 and versions 5.3.3 available so I could try those and see what happens?

Version of Helicon Focus 5.3.3 works fine on my Windows 7 machine; I will assume that version 5.2.16 also would work; that worked on my old XP machine. The problem is in version 5.3.4.

I will use version 5.3.3 and activate that until there is a bug fix available.
